Lara McIlwraith is a British lady born in Birmingham, UK.
She was born into a single parent family and watched her mother struggle to provide for her children as a full time carer.
Following in her mum's footsteps and having been brought up caring for her mums patients, Lara became a carer herself in her late teens. Although incredibly rewarding, she found herself exhausted everyday, worrying about money and had no time or freedom to travel, spend quality time with family or enjoy the life she desired.
